PERSONAL BACKSTORY:

My last carry on did a great job for almost fifteen years. I took it mostly on short trips (when I went on business), but also on long trips (for fun!). Although it was usually full to the brim, it lasted longer than I expected. When the handle finally fell off and I found a hole in the lining, I realized it was time to say goodbye to my old friend.

BUDGET LIMITATIONS:

Initially I thought to buy something affordable, cheap even. I don’t need name brand luggage, not with my student loans. But after reading the reviews on the under $50 price, I couldn’t justify even spending that when everyone was talking about stuck wheels and broken handles. I waited for a while until I could go in person and see how cheap they actually looked.

TRAVEL DEMANDS:

As I mentioned, I frequently travel on business. Most of those trips are international, and these cheaper suitcases would never stand that kind of air travel. I decided to wait until I was certain before I made the purchase, and that happened this past Tuesday. Couldn’t have come sooner since my flight was that Friday. I almost took my old broken one with me until I went back to Amazon and found this baby.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

The first thing I noticed was how light it was, even in the box. I ripped into it, and man it looked great. I love how the handle slides out without The wheels move seamlessly and the body feels strong, like it won’t scratch easily. It’s small, and yet surprisingly capable of holding a lot. It’s even expandable, which for over packers like me is a plus.

PERFORMANCE:

I took this suitcase, fully loaded, on four plus hour flights during the holidays, and even had to check it. And it did so well. No scratches, no wear and tear! I even dragged it through the cobblestone streets of Mykonos.

VALUE:

It's not super cheap, but also won’t break the bank. Plus, I loved the colors and the reviews were great. With the clock ticking, I bit the bullet, and my new bag arrived just in time.

BOTTOM LINE:

It’s so easy to travel with and moved so easily through the airport I seriously have zero complaints. I can’t recommend it enough.
