An author of thirteen fiction novels and narrative nonfiction, Megan possesses years of freelance experience. Her publications on websites like BeMyTravelMuse and Extreme Nomads include product reviews and tips on outdoor gear, travel products, and boutique hotel stays.

When she’s not typing away on her next piece, Megan is a whale watch tour guide in the San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest, educating visitors about orca behavior and conservation. Her summers are spent on the Salish Sea, her winters wrapped in writing, and her stories always rooted in real-world experience.

And while my idealization of Greek culture didn’t unfold like the series, it ended up better than expected at the famous Remezzo resto-bar. On my last...
